If there are moments where one cant speak, find other ways to acknowledge them, show them a place to sit and the place in the book, if the shliach has to be chazzon have someone be the official greeter

Kiddush


The kiddush can be community program that will attract a lot of people 


1) Food Creates a Sense of Family

    The more food the better, have a full full spread out challah, fish, salads, meat etc

     It shows them that you not just just making a “kiddush” 


2) Friendships are Made

 It depends on the size of the crowd on how to set up, if its a large crowd have multiple tables the shliach could sit by one to farbraing for whoever wants to join, the point is for people to meet others and have a good time so they would want to come again
